I agree. 1.5 for Minter is a far better deal for LSU.
I'm rootin for Baker though.
Our AD only know one way to negotiate, and that is just to offer waaaaaaay more money than anyone else. He has done it with every hire. He has made some awful deals for his university......A&M owes Jimbo
$77 million to do nothing. And if he would have been at LSU at the time, that is exactly the position LSU would be in right now.

It's amazing to me how people just ignore this point. The top 4 defenses in the country this year were all Big 10 teams. Either that's an incredible coincidence, or Big 10 offenses sucked arse. I'm going with the latter.

He makes about the same as Kevin Steele, Pete Golding, Tommy Reese . The pay is right on par for Job.

This is why we paid him. He has GREAT recruiting ties in LA and surrounding areas. After all, he recruited Harold Perkins to LSU in the first place. He will bring in the recruits.

Minter isn’t leaving Michigan for another DC job. He is very loyal to the Harbaugh’s. John gave him a job in the NFL. John got Minter his DC job at Vandy.
It was a proving ground for him. When McDonald left Michigan to go back to the Ravens Minter was the first call Jim made. He ain’t leaving those guys.
