When did we start freaking out over radar signatures and calling them all tornados?

Just had a confirmed tornado make landfall on the west end of 30a and track all the way up to I10 at ponce de Leon.

Looks like another one still in the water just south of PCB.

If you're in Spanish Fort and I'm in Loxley. The second and last "tornado" they were calling on the news went right over my house and it was windy

I see what you're saying

We are in the warning that was near Stroh road and 31. Went right over us. Wind blew hard for a few minutes. Power flickered once.

Confirmed via NWS. Radar indicated 110mph winds and it was visible over the bay as it crossed and exited up by Freeport at the 331 bridge.

No idea why they didn’t drop a warning on it until it was already ashore, hoping no one got hurt in the campground at Topsail.

The houses around there are built for EF2+ due to storm codes but I wouldn’t want to ride one out in a tent or RV.

It’s still on the ground heading towards the FL line.

Finally dropped a warning on this one over near Thomas Dr in PCB, that’s a very populated area and they waited a long time to give warning.

I suspect they wait on them because there’s no way to have a spotter confirm anything when it’s over the gulf.

Hoping that’s just hail near Lynn Haven or they are having a bad morning.

Nasty hail on that super cell from 30a about to roll into Dothan, AL.

It’s no longer warned so im hoping that’s just hail and not debris.

Correction - it’s warned again and spotters have it on the ground, not good at all.
