I feel like the trigger warnings they put in front of tv shows these days are like the 2024 version of the "tonight on a very special episode of full house" from thirty years ago.

Bold strategy Navarro… take on a group of guys and proceed to get the shite kicked out of you

I really just don’t care about this show
I’m barely invested at all.
It barely keeps my attention.
Ready for it to end

I thought tonight was better. I at least felt some emotions. It sure feels like there's a hell of a lot to wrap up in two more episodes though.
I thought Danvers and Navarro were way better in this episode. It's a shame that it's taken 2/3 of the season for me to start feeling some kind of something. Danvers went from completely unlikeable to only mostly unlikeable in this ep.
Navarro losing her temper and going after that dude then getting her arse kicked was an interesting scene. I fully thought she was going to go Bourne on all of those dudes and that was going to pretty much end my waning interest, but she pretty much got what she would get in real life - a fricking beatdown.
Young cop's dad actually made me feel some sympathy for him. Seems like he could be an interesting character but there's just hardly any time left in the season to do anything with him.
Still a mess - but much better episode.

Well, I can barely describe the actual mystery taking place this season, but it's nice to know the entire town has shitty personal lives.

Hahaha pretty accurate. It's at least become a serviceable drama surrounding the life and times of the population of Ennis, Alaska.

I’m just waiting for Peter Venkman to show up at this point.

I'm sad the corpcycle is gone.

Also, the pivot to horror has been a complete whiff. It's a shame, because I think the setting could have let to a great season. I actually think the "days of night" concept could have worked really well.

So is this the right question?
Where is the detective work this season?

I’m lost.
When does the ghost of Rust Cohle’s dad show up again?
All these dead people and I can’t decipher a story.
I was interested for about 3 seconds before the stewardess closed the cabin door.

I’m so lost. No way they can recover this in 2 more hours. They’re essentially trying to uncover 2 separate murder cases and neither is close.
