Paid off all my balances in December and for that I’m grateful.

Should have used a debit card or cash. Makes it a lot easier and way less stressful than using a credit card.

Mais bruh you gotta pay that off last year

Paid cash, zero credit card debt for gifts.

Looks like I’m going to have to pull out one of those payday in advance loans again this year..

The character you play on this site is confusing as frick. One minute you’re bragging about buying a Porsche or a vette, the next you’re talking about credit card debt.

Why spend what you don’t have?
Posted on 1/2/24 at 11:21 am to fareplay
Not me. I paid cash for everything this year.
I remember those days though and no doubt that statement in January could hurt your feelings if you weren't careful

You and your wife make 1MM a year. I'm sure you can manage it

Only half of America’s credit card customers believe they can pay off their December balance in full, according to an industry index, signaling a low ebb in “credit card confidence” as the nation emerges from the holidays.
The LendingTree Credit Card Confidence Index, a monthly survey published since 2018 by the personal finance site, dipped to 51% in December, an all-time low.
In a nationally representative survey of 1,514 cardholders, only 51% voiced confidence that they could pay off their card balance this month.

I don't use a credit card. If you can't pay cash you can't afford it.

I understand and agree with your point.
However, you are leaving points/rewards on the table unused. It is best to pay it off every month to get the points

If you pay your credit card off every month, it’s pretty dumb to pay cash/debit….
