Lane Kiffin is fool’s gold. He did well this year, and it’s possible he’s matured….but, I’d need to see several 10-11 win seasons from him before I believe he’s evolved as a coach.
That’s now right now — so I’d steer clear of Kiffin if CBK for Michigan.
But, this is all pretty damn hypothetical.
Harbaugh isn’t leaving. They not offering CBK if he does. And so doubt CBK would move up there. It’s too cold.

I believe Kiffin would CRAWL to BR for the LSU job. Then he would ABSOLUTELY dominate if provided access to this program's resources, and the players we get to play here.
He was my clear choice to be hired last time-until BK became publicly acknowledged as the top candidate. Had I known BK was available, I would have took him over Kiffin.
I still think BK is a fool if he leaves LSU, and I doubt he would even consider it. There is no easier place to win it than at LSU, especially with a competent HC and staff.

I think if Ole Miss wasn’t going all in on transfers next season Lane would probably take the job but I don’t see him leaving right now.
That being said, you have to believe the NCAA is going to come down on Michigan regardless if Harbaugh leaves so that has to give a coach pause before taking the job.

I personally believe in Kelly. Just thinking about direction if he bolts.

I can’t stand Kiffen. He’s a top notch douche bag!

Can anyone explain all the vitriol for Kelly? Good God is there never peace with this fan base? He’s on the verge of two ten win seasons. Yes we need to fix the defense, but look at what was left after Yaw Yaw ran this team into the ground. I just can’t see where he’s done a bad enough job to warrant running him out of town or wishing he was gone.

I don’t think many on this post are anti Kelly. Just acknowledging a scenario that is a slight possibility.

Do not count my vote for offering Lane Kiffin anything but yearly but whippings. It’s taken him 6 seasons as an SEC HC to get a ten win season. Didn’t have it USC either. HELL NO! He’s literally a clown.

You mean a defense that was ranked ahead of LSU? I’d sure as hell take him and cripple those assholes in one fell swoop.
Whether you want to believe or not, Ole Miss has sold its soul for 2024 and will be in a better position than LSU. Now I’m not sure if that’s going to work out for them, but they will be starting the season in the Top 5 and have the easiest schedule.
Yall are too invested in this single year by Kiffin.

Kelly not leaving. Get over it

I just disagree. I think Kiffin has had his eye on BR for years, and would jump at the chance.

Kiffin is not interested in LSU. His next step is Alabama.

We badly need someone more exciting. Program feels boring and stale as shite even with a Heisman. I don't think I've ever felt as disconnected from it as I do right now. If not Kiffin then someone younger that is willing to recruit. Will Wade of football. Kiffin, Lanning, Norvell, etc
Yet another weird arse Will Wade / Texas 8&4 cult like member. GFYS.

I wonder if LSU could pull Norvell in this scenario? Especially after FSU got hosed from a playoff appearance.

Kiffin would never come to LSU. Next stop for him would be Alabama.
