Knicks just got OG Anunoby for RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley.

That’s a really good trade for the Knicks. He will bring defense in the post where Julius Randle lacks but Brunson and Randle can handle the offensive end. I know it’s not Pels related but whatever.

I think Barrett is a decent player he’s just not a guy you build your team around like Knicks initially tried to do. He’s a role player.

Raptors got some good players but they still don't have any shooters. Their situation is way more bleak than the Pels.

Og Anunoby is about to be paid max money.
His value isn't worth the amount you'd have to give up if it's multiple firsts and a plus player.
Toronto wanted to steal but rj isn't a bad #2/3 to Barnes and siakam. However I'm imagining they'll restart and move siakam too

It is interesting because the Raps are basically trading out not wanting to pay Van Vleet last season, for having to pay Quickley. Quickley is looking to be properly paid and the Knicks didn't want to do it.
Quick definitely makes more sense for the Raps over Van Vleet, as they are headed towards a rebuild, and Quick is on the timeline with Scottie Barnes and RJ.
