Willie needs to go to G League

Glad he will get some game work in Birmingham.

But, if used properly he should be an asset for the Pelicans now.

Not a big surprise that he isn't being used properly with Willie as coach.

This is just plain ridiculous.

Can’t shoot 3’s to save our life so we gonna send away a shooter

All of willie's actions contradict his words. He says they want to shoot 40 3s per game but even though they are missing matt ryan they send down a guy who is 3rd in 3PAs/gm. Where does willie think those extra 3s are going to come from? Zion isn't going to magically start shooting 5 3s a game

My favorite part of this is that his skill set makes our best player better and Willie says “head to the gleague. We can’t use your skills.” CLOWN SHOW.

Willie has shown to be philosophically similar to SVG since he's been here. He believes in defense first and thinks the offense will be ok if they limit turnovers. That philosophy isn't inherently wrong, but this team has shown that it is not good at generating half court offense when the other team is trying hard on defense.

We really do need to at least experiment the other direction with all shooters and BI and/or Zion. If it fails then Willie can go back to his comfort zone. If it works, Willie might get another contract.
