I wonder how long they were incarcerated for before the pardon. The older a person is, the less likely they are to re-offend.

They should be in prison for life. The deader a person is, the less likely they are to re-offend.

Sorry but stats show the older convicts are on par percentage wise in criminal activity

Can you link this for me please? All the data I’ve seen shows recidivism decreases with age.

So you want everyone convicted of murder to be executed?

In keeping with the liberal race theme, what % were white that were pardoned?

A lot less likely if they were executed.
Seriously, we have entirely too many career criminals locked up today. Past time to thin out the herd.

This jackass says we are a state that is prolife yet believes and supports abortion.

You cannot make this shite up.

This was one last poke in the eye because be didnt get his way with the parole and pardon board because taxpayers raised hell.

Go read the heinous acts these people committed. Absolute slap in the face to the victims families...3 of whom i personally know.

Fortunately, they were all wrongly convicted because of racism.

There are people on this thread who who actually believe that, such as cubbies, and to them, Roberto is a hero.

How does this clown get elected twice in Louisiana? His first election against Vitter wasn't close.

The thing about JBE is that he's a good guy that is generally pretty honest but is completely bamboozled by political allies. To make matters worse he appointed a lot of the worst people possible to various positions, some of which can't be removed for 4 or 5 years because they're serving terms.

He released a double murderer. How’d you like to welcome that person back to your town? It’s an outrage what he did, but par for the course.

If there's a God in heaven, it's a town full of people that voted for Edwards.

Old school Louisiana machine politics similar to the effort to elect Biden. Lots of bums in Orleans Parish got some walking around money and a bottle of malt liquor.
