1.9% win for green area
Just put the wolf packs in the places that voted for them, introduce a pack downtown Denver would be entertaining or watching them chase skiers in Aspen

So basically, everywhere that doesn't know shite about wolves or risk having to live along side them voted to reintroduce them.
Makes sense.
Makes sense.

I know a good ole boy in Montrose who hunts the Uncompahgre NF a lot. He’s pissed!

I’m honestly surprised there aren’t more violent wolf issues directly humans, obviously livestock and wild game is a different issue.

The wolf was eradicated for a reason.

Add more coyotes also. Plenty of dogs running around for them to eat.

Fear of wolves is natural, they are a large predator but humans are also large, and verified unprovoked wolf attacks are virtually unheard of. The problems wolves cause are for livestock. Cattle and especially sheep.
ETA: and of course pets, particularly in more urban areas where the game is scarce.

Mostly to protect livestock and from irrational fear. I'm not suggesting reintroducing them is a good idea, definitely not where there is livestock or any urbanization, but that was the primary driver.

They should be turned loose in the front yard of the people who wanted it.

That's where I've been hunting. I'm pretty unhappy about it. Not because it's going to frick up my elk hunting, because I suck at it anyway. More so that it's being done on the whims of a bunch of people who'll never feel any impact from thus, and they are dumping it on people who very much will.
The governor of Colorado is a shitty person.

Didn't Fort Collins and Colorado Springs used to be based?

Colorado has become west California. The baws are outnumbered now.

Family lives in Hindsale County and have heard multiple outfitters and ranchers complain. Many people make a living off of guiding and the wolves are going to do work on the elk population. State will reimburse for dead cows, but apparently the paperwork is a pain in the arse.

im outchere but havent figured out how to be able to vote multiple times.
they released the first 5 in grand county which has winter park, kremmling, fraser, granby etc. some of my favorite places to camp really. ill still camp but Denver/the springs is beyond retarded. its group-think like youve never seen before. heads in the sand paying astronomical prices for everything pretending like things are good the way they are.

Wolves were already in Colorado. There really wasn’t a reason to dump more there.

This isn’t really true. Wolves are very smart, and in this country with its armed population they learned to fear and avoid man. But read up on the situation in Russia and other European countries where wolves have very much preyed on people. If we are reintroducing these predators and at the same time preventing people from hunting them we are asking for trouble.

The 3 S Rule should prevail.
1. Shoot
2. Shovel
3. SHUT UP
This rule has applied all over wolf country.

Wolves have no place with modern humans in our populated society. . Both Apex predators and the prey can’t support both

These baws are a bunch of iditots that dont get it. CO ranchers spent a 100 years trying to eradicate wolves. Now a bunch of hippies have voted them back in because they dont know their arse from their purple hair. There is not one even semblance of an argument as to why wolves should be in colorado. This law makes me want to vomit, not due to the wolves, but do to the assholes in CO.
