So, has anyone ever actually explained why the vicious flinging of JD by the nameplate was NOT called a horse collar? Hell, it looked like it could be unnecessary roughness no matter what.

Because it was a Bama player that committed the penalty

Did you expect the refs to show up on TD and explain it to you?

I’m not sure what you’re looking for almost two months later. It was a missed call. Go get an eggnog and enjoy the holidays.

You know why. These calls/no-calls happen every time we play that dirty team.
It’s like we’re being punished for not allowing Saban back at LSU after he left for MIA in the most disgraceful way and then failed miserably.

Can you see all the refs freeze. I thought I saw that.

This was a follow up on the thread about the British guys watching the highlights. The British guys immediately saw that and wondered why it wasn't a penalty, and they're not obsessed with Bama. It's something that has been forgotten about, but shows more bullshite officiating as viewed by non-fans. Quit being a bitch.

Because the refs missed a call. It happens literally every single game on both sides. Quit bitching.

Why keep pretending? You know why.

The SEC openly rigs games. When a game is decided beforehand, the safety of the players will even be compromised in order to get the favored team the "win".

You've been watching this unfold all over the conference for decades now. Why keep denying reality.

PS - This doesn't just happen to LSU either.

But they never miss that when we do it. They invent reasons to call shite on us. It’s exhausting.

It wasn't even a missed call. It was a borderline call. If the Bama player had pulled him down from behind when he originally grabbed him it would have been a clear horse collar. But with his other hand he grabbed the front jersey (?) turned him sideways, and then flung him down. Borderline call, imo.

You seem to forget that later in the game Perkins way less violently tugs on Milroe's jersey but get called for horsecollar.

I don’t know if this guy still posts here but someone posted this several years ago. Equivalent to the British guys “not obsessed” with the gumps.

**********
"I have a friend who works at the SEC offices, She did not graduate from an SEC school and can care less about football. What she tells me is that almost every position of note is filled with a Bama guy, she says she sometimes feels like she is working for the University of Alabama. I don't know if that's cheating but it sure doesn't seem like much integrity."

There is literally no other way that tackle happens than grabbing someone inside the collar and throwing them

It was the worst collar I have ever seen missed.

It was a no brainer and the exact reason the rule was created. It was purposeful.
