Better question is how did Miami get to #7?

If LSU lands Terry Bussey and Dom Mckinnley then the class will certainly be top 10. Remains to be seen if that comes to fruition.

Help me with a link to where you are seeing this. The On3 page I see has them at 9th and LSU at 12th.

According to 247, we had 4 top 5 classes out of 10 years in the 2010's. That is pretty consistent.

4 out of 10 is consistent? That means 6 out 10 times they were not Top 5, yet you are claiming finishing out the Top 5 is reason for concern.

Yes, why don't you actually look for yourself!

Ohio State 5
Texas 5
FSU 5
LSU 4
Georgia 3
UF 3
Tennessee 1
Oklahoma 1
Auburn 1
ND 1
Clemson 0 (surprising!)

... Alabama 10

Thank you. Interesting how you have to parse a URL slug and it's not just listed on their site.

Got a better DC than Lsu does. Hell i duno. Ratings on these kids not done yet but can these coaches coach these kids on where need to be should be the focus. Missou did that and they not always been in top10 rankings in decades

and we produce tons more talent then Oklahoma
then you know nothing about the history of Oklahoma recruiting. They’ve always had a firm grip on the DFW metro area. Also helps that Venables is elite recruiter of defensive talent, look at the DL recruits he brought in at Clemson and when he was the DC for stoops.

Apparently ranking .157 out of 100 ahead of LSU is "outrecruiting" now, with no other factors considered.

Doesnt OU have like three QBs committed in this class? That should put it in a little better context since obviously all three will be behind JArnold for quite awhile

How else should one interpret “We were pissed to be 3-5. Now? It's pure cope. Accepted our place in the world. It's sad to see.”?

There is a difference between having amongst the highest number of Top 5 finishes and consistently finishing Top 5. LSU finished Top 5 last year, so even if they don’t this year, that’s still 50% for Kelly for full recruiting cycles. That’s better than 40%.

I'm speaking on the attitude of this board and how it has changed over the years. Maybe you browsed this place pre your sign up date, but it was constantly comparing ourselves to Saban or Kirby. Now? Well, reality has taken hold. probably for the best honestly.
