Two foreign tourists refuse to pay at a nail salon in Bali, Indonesia

"This happened in Kuta Utara, Badung, Bali, where two foreign tourists, Andrea CW from the UK and Chansler A from the USA, were involved in an incident at Ombre Nails Studio. The event unfolded on December 14, 2023, when the tourists, dissatisfied with the nail treatment's price, reportedly refused to pay Rp 930,000 (approximately USD 60 at the time). This disagreement escalated to a physical altercation with the salon staff.
The incident was recorded and became viral on social media. Reacting to the public attention, the tourists planned to leave Bali for Bangkok, Thailand. However, they were apprehended by the Bali Police at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport on the evening of December 16, 2023, around 22:30 WITA."

Nobody dislikes black people more than Asian nail salon workers, I would imagine things like this are prob why.

indonesia is not the place i would want to "test" the criminal system....

This is about the most truthful statement I’ve ever seen on here. I’ve got a Vietnamese friend that owns about 4 salons. I’ve got stories upon stories he’s told me of incidents like this where they are “dissatisfied” in an effort to not pay

I wish every damm media organization in the US would broadcast their trial and subsequent punishment. All those that claim the US justice system is unfair would learn a few things.
