I don’t think JD5 wins Heisman or our offense not as good if Boutte stays
If you remember in2022 big plan was getting him the ball. He whines and pouts if he wasn’t being thrown to. One of reasons for our offense to have big 3. Mabors Thomas and Lacey would not as blossomed if he was around

Which Boutte are we talking? If he fully recovered from his injury then we would have had 3 first rounders at WR.

It is very strange, the threads which are allowed, and not deleted by admin.

Just like any other player... If he wasn't performing he would be replaced. In your scenario he would have been replaced by the player who actually did make the catches to help Daniels win...so it's a win for him either way.

Daniels still wins the Heisman. One of the factors Boutte probably faced was depth chart pressure. He would have had a much reduced role this season had he stayed. Maybe that helped push him out.

Another thing that’s kind of funny in retrospect is Koy Moore’s claim to have been the best receiver on LSU’s roster. Dont’t see him on the AA lists, especially after giving away the Alabama game.

If the Patriots draft JD then he and Boutte will be together again.

Yea, I was thinking if Faulk hadn't gone to the NFL and was allowed to play 25 more years, he would have been the workhorse RB, eating into JD's numbers, costing him the Heisman.

He may have won with even more votes, as Boutte helps LSU beat Ole Miss.

Boutte did not seem like the guy who would break down in tears because he hurt his teammate's chance at additional glory. His poor attitude and work ethic would have kept him off the field, or he would have gotten his shite together.

Dumbest post of the year, and there have been some dumb ones.
Boutte, if still here and was ineffective, would have been replaced by Nabers.

Daniels improvement was the reason he won the Heisman. If Daniels played as he did in 22 he would have won nothing. Daniels gets the recognition and the glory for his remarkable improvement. He listened to his Coach, put in the work, and had remarkable receivers.
That spells Heisman.

Despite his continued injury problems, Boutte made an NFL roster.

You are crazy if you think Boutte does anything but make the offense even better.

The OP is fricking stupid as shite.

How hard do you have to shite on Boutte to type the OP?

Would LSU's QB have performed worse with an additional NFL talent level receiver? Would Boutte have dropped potential game winning passes?

Go frick yourself. Damn you're dumb.

I think it’s pretty obvious we were better off without him

Nabors, Thomas Jr., Boutte > Nabors, Thomas Jr., Lacy. Jayden could’ve had better stats with Boutte on the field.
