It was the gutsy move. One we're apparently not capable of making for our men's basketball program. Got to make sure we don't get any negative tweets.

Anyway, that's one more bball program we'll fail to catch for a long time to come.

He’ll be back with a blue blood in a year or two.

This stupid fricking tweet again.

He will either be at a blue blood or a really good SEC program and will kick our arse for years and years and years.

LSU basketball is dead. frick them.

Did Wade get permanently banned by the NCAA? Or is he coaching again at another school?

Meanwhile, facing sanctions Kansas gave a lifetime contract to their coach.

LSU isn’t serious about Men’s Basketball. It’s all football , baseball, or women’s basketball. You can’t pay everybody. Been watching LSU basketball since 1980. No one wanted to make a splash hire after Dale Brown.
I understand DB left us on probation.

It’s not being pessimistic, but The AD’s don’t give a hoot about trying to win big in basketball. Would you rather have John Calipari for 8.5 million per year and then not have money for baseball or football coaches ?

LSU won 2 National titles last year. Kentucky or Vanderbilt are not doing that. UK only has basketball. They’re not winning a title in football or baseball. Vandy sure isn’t winning a football or basketball title.

I can think of plenty of schools that have great programs in multiple sports. Alabama, Texas, Oregon, Arizona, Tennessee just to name a few. This idea that you can only be good in one or two sports and have to suck in every other is absolute bullshite

Neither was LSU! You’re a fool if you thought anything major would happen to the program. The NCAA proved with Arizona and Kansas that they were useless. Woodward bent the knee because if we’re being honest he’s not a great AD

No he did not. BUT, what he did do is pay (or order to be paid) players from a private checking account. Forgetting the gross violation of rules, this should be a fireable offense on the grounds of gross stupidity.

He also openly refused to meet with his boss when summoned to do so. Whether or not you like your boss, whether or not you agree with your boss, whether or not you think your boss is fair, when your boss orders you to a meeting you either attend the meeting or you get fired. That applies to every business in the country, not just LSU Athletics.

Yes, Will Wade fricked LSU basketball through arrogance, hubris and stupidity.
