His parents wired my mom reimbursement for the money, and the NOPD dropped the case because they said it wasn't worth prosecuting. Or maybe he called in political favors.
The whole thing was so disgusting. The guy was a criminal and his family was enabling him and making excuses for his behavior

Williams was his attorney (before he tried to murder-for-hire Williams). He originally got a suspended sentence which he later screwed up even before the attempted murder-for-hires.
With the numbers involved in the murder-for-hire attempts, their titles, and especially one being his rape victim I can’t believe those charges were dropped to misdemeanors.
