I don't remember where I read it, but it seemed like a reputable source, LSU athletes don't have NIL contributions of $5 or 6 million annually across all sports. At least not through whatever it is they use. Those like Livvy and Angel that market themselves obviously make more, but they do that without the assistance of LSU in most instances.

Permanent 4th place losers?? Perhaps they haven’t heard that LSU has won 3 national championships and played in a fourth since they last sniffed a National Championship.

Exactly, how many titles does Michigan have in that same time span?

It’s funny how programs like Michigan, Oregon and Washington try to throw shade at LSU. We’ve won three NC titles since 2003.

Id rather be a permanent 4th place SEC loser with 3 NC’s in the last 20 years than a has been program coasting off of championships from 30 plus years ago who have to resort to cheating to be relevant in the modern game.

and I highly doubt we're paying 5 million

Have we spent $5 million on NIL since NIL began? The idea we would spend $5 million on a single player is insane. We aren't Texas A&M.

Tbh...Michigan would waste his talent. The offense Michigan runs is not suited for underwood but the offense Mike denbrock runs will turn him into a superstar

Truth. Dude is just salty. Helps them sleep thinking we paid something stupid for Underwood. Kinda like we do with aTm lol. No way we paid anything close to that. We don't have it and we wouldn't spend it. We all know that by the LA recruits we've missed out on.

Who really cares if LSU gives him five million it’s not your money and do you like winning?

Thank you. We want Bryce but we don't have that kind of money, and even if we did we couldn't possibly invest it in one player.

This report is almost certainly false.

Giving kids who never played a down $5 million dollars is the dumbest thing imaginable. And when you give 1 kid $5 million (which we aren’t) you make other kids jealous, then the next kid wants $6 million and it’s a never ending cycle. And yes you are right it will never be my money because I’m not dumb enough to give my money to some 18 year old to play football. If it cost millions to win and we are held hostage by teenagers making demands who have never played a down in college then yeah I just soon not win because if you pay one the money keeps going up an up an up until you cannot afford it anyway. NIL is stupid how the NCAA has it setup and the transfer portal too

I don’t think it’s really like that in reality this kids that in your hypothetical are asking for 6 million don’t exist a kid isn’t gonna get that money just because he “asks”. They will tell him to go hit the portal. We have been paying kids forever now, although this is different from the past i don’t think your example is going down today
