Between November 20 and 26, Ukraine's military destroyed 81 tanks, making up approximately three Russian tank battalions, according to an update from Ukraine's military communications platform on Monday. Around 5,760 Russian soldiers were taken out of action in the same time frame, as well as 108 armored vehicles, according to Kyiv.
On Monday, the General Staff of Ukraine's military said Russia had lost seven tanks in the previous 24 hours, bringing Kyiv's tally of total Russian tank losses to 5,520 since February 2022, when Moscow launched its full-scale invasion. Last week, Kyiv said Russia lost 30 tanks in a single day as Moscow refuses to relent around the embattled Donetsk town of Avdiivka.

Russian troop casualties were averaging 931 a day in November, significantly more than the previous high of 776 a day in March—when Russian and Ukrainian forces were locked in the brutal fight for control of Bakhmut, another small Donetsk city.
The numbers are likely inflated but looking at the videos of combat from the last week and the graphic videos of the aftermath it is obvious Russia took a pounding. Even if only 1/3rd of the claims are accurate, Russia still lost an entire tank battalion in 1 week and close to 9000 troops in one month. It is such a shame too. All of this bloodshed could end if Russia just withdrew back to its internationally recognized borders.

Russia is not even attempting to contest the claim. In the past when Ukraine has put of false information Russia has been quick to refute the claims. This is a break from their normal behavior. Also the videos of the Russian dead are not fake.

All of this could have been avoided if Russia had honored its word when it told the world it had no plans to invade Ukraine in Feb 2022.

Those numbers for armor battalions are skewed in that 81 tanks might makeup the number of tanks in 3 Motorized Rifle Battalions, but the Russians have a lot of BMPs in their MRBs as well.
For instance, an organic US Armor Battalion has 58 tanks. 4 per platoon, 3 platoons per company for 12. Then one each for the company commander and XO. That's 14.
4 companies of 14 gives you 56 then 1 each for the BN CO and BN XO gives you 58 total tanks. Now that number changes drastically when you form Combined Arms teams and Battalion Task Forces in which you trade companies back and forth between an Armor unit and a Mechanized Infantry unit for certain deployments and missions.
I was deployed once with TF 1-5. 1-5 cav was a mech infantry unit and I was a badass 19 Killer.

Dude, how far do you want to bankrupt our nation, kids, and grandkids to get a few dead Russians.
Russia will not lose this war, unless we get involved militarily, which no one wants. The best we can hope for is a peace talk. Otherwise, you will be in decades of misery with inflation for printing more and more money to watch a foreign war that should have been neutered early on with better leadership.
