...but Boris Johnson urged them to keep fighting

quote:

The war could have ended in the spring of 2022, but Johnson told us to keep fighting – Zelensky’s right-hand David Arakhamia

“Russia’s goal was to crush us completely so that we would agree to neutrality. That was their priority: they were prepared to end the war if we accepted neutrality like Finland once did, and if we made a commitment that we would not join NATO. That was the main thing,” said leader of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia

When asked why the Ukraine did not agree to those terms, he replied that for that to happen, before anything else, the Constitution would have had to be changed, but then British Prime Minister Boris Johnson came to Kiev and said that there was no need to sign anything with the Russian Federation and that “we should just keep fighting".

It has often been reported in the media that Kiev refused to sign the agreement in the spring of 2022 after Johnson’s arrival, but now Arakhamia has actually confirmed this.

After it was reported that the Russian Federation was ready to sign the agreement, Zelensky pulled out of the negotiations and declared that the Ukraine would fight until it reached its 1991 borders.

No shite Sherlock. Russia won 18 months ago. They didn’t want to lose thousands of soldiers and equipment to the weapons we gave Ukraine so they dug in and kicked their feet up.

Shits been over with. The “counteroffensive” was up there with “ghost of Kyiv” for dumbest fiction the American MSM propaganda was pushing us.

bullshite. The scholars in the OT War College are quite confident that Ukraine is close to laying seige to St. Petersburg and Moscow, simultaneously.

I guess this would have been a mere formality based on the responses here.

Just like all those PT board members fighting valiantly against the WEF, Globalism and Zelensky simultaneously.

Their decision had nothing to do with Boris Johnson and everything to do with it being in their constitution for several years already to join NATO and a complete distrust of Putin and no firm guarantees. Should the Ukrainians lay down their arms and begin to back off you think Russia would simply pack up and leave? Especially since the Russian propaganda on state tv tells the people how great the war is going? Putin is on a knifes edge and has to keep the people believing he’s this strong man and the war hasn’t been the catastrophe that it has been for them.

Russia also said that there would be no invasion all the way up to the day there was an invasion. Forgive Kyiv for not believing anything he says.

Hell I just watched it and he doesn’t say what your title suggests at all. He says essentially what I said above, it was in their constitution about NATO already and they have zero trust in Putin. It doesn’t say the war could have ended in Spring 2022 and then in comes Boris. They were determined to fight because they had no security guarantees. Did you even watch it or just post off some propaganda website?

The war WOULD have ended in 2022 if everyone agreed that the kickback amount paid to those sending money to Ukraine would be paid to those people regardless.

I think Putin stopped because he's not interested in going any further. The area he occupies protects the Russian speaking people in the north who were being persecuted and keeps NATO off his border. Why would he attempt to control the rest of Ukraine which isn't Russian speaking and would always pose a threat of civil war?
