Is the Christian God the same God of Judaism?

This question was posed to me today. I answered yes because Jesus practiced Judaism and prayed to the Jewish Yahweh.
The pushback was that Jesus is God and the God of Judaism isn’t a triune God.
What do you think?

Same Father. Not the same Savior.

Absolutely

Jesus is God whether or not the Jews believe it. He's STILL God. The Jews just have yet to accept it, unless they are Messianic Jews.

No. The God of the Bible—including the Old Testament—is the same triune God of Christianity. The God as worshipped by the Jews is not the same because they reject the triune persons and with the singular nature of God. As Jesus said, if they don’t know Jesus, they don’t know the Father.

The correct answer is yes.

Yes. And the Torah makes up the first five books of our Christian Bible.

So are the Jews going to hell? We know the Muslims are.

If they don't accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior they are.

False.

No. Even putting aside that Christians (as in true, actual Christians) believe that no man comes to the Father except through Christ (and therefore the very nature of God hinges on the truth or falsity of that claim), today’s Jews are of a different tradition really.
If you’re talking about first -century Jews who rejected Christ, then I’ll grant you a “sort of” (although the crazy legalism and hypocrisy of the first century Jews had little resemblance to true worship of the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, and David. But second-temple, Talmudic/Rabbinic Judaism is basically a monotheistic cult based on legalism and ritualism.

How? You think Jews believe their messiah will be God? The logos?

same God, the Jews are just still waiting for the messiah, they don't believe in the Christion one

That’s way overly simplistic. No Jew today would say they are waiting for a messiah who is actually God.
Also, John 5:45–47 is instructive:
Do not think I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, on whom your hopes are set. If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?

Yes, if you believe the old testament of the Bible, and I might add, he is the Muslim God too according to their Koran. I don't understand why we all fight over religion when we all worship the same big guy.

I believe the God of Abraham is triune, but the Jews do not believe that, so they don't believe in the Biblical God as revealed through the Scriptures, and especially in the person of Jesus Christ.

Yes. The God of the Followers of the Cross (aka Christians) is the same God of the Jews.
Yeshua (aka Jesus) is what happened when God chose to become a man. The Eucharist (Living Bread) is what happened when Jesus (God) presented himself as body, blood, soul, and divinity under the appearance of bread and wine the night before he was crucified. Therefore when we worship Jesus we worship God, and when we consume the Eucharist we consume God. Furthermore, to make war against the Jews and Christians is to make war against God. It's that simple.
"My flesh is real food, my blood is real drink. He who eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, lives continually in me, and I in him". - John 6:56-57

If they don’t accept Christ as their savior they will go to hell just like anyone else.
