He throws lefty when he’s playing in the backyard. Thinks it’s degenerative because of the 2005 injury.

As much as I hate the fact he doesn't have a MVP, we don't have multiple Lombardis.

Gotta admit how everything lined up perfectly for just 1 season.

Things lined up for two more trophies, we just couldn't get one stop with one and the refs gave the other one away with the worst no call in sports history.

The missed tackle was a direct result of the refs being a bit overzealous about PI calls that season. So a rookie made a bad decision trying to avoid early contact. In a sense, the refs screwed us both times, just indirectly once.

Drew gave us all he had. He will be missed greatly. It is a shame the NFL is fixed and kept Drew from many more Superbowls. 2018 changed how invested I get into the NFL. It is indeed an entertainment industry. Now with Gambling promoted before each game, the natural flow of the game has disappeared. I see the same things over and over again with the refs. The pattern is there. Open your eyes, feel what is presented before you. I leave now with this wisdom given to you.

While I think you’re right about why Marcus whiffed on that tackle against Minnesota, I think he’s referring to the 2011 game in SF.

Think he was talking about the 2011 division game against the 9ers. Damn Vernon Davis and Alex Smith. Best saints offense yardage wise

I appreciate Drew and all he did for us, especially the Super Bowl.

I always appreciated Drew for saving a couple picks and fumbles until the playoffs.

I remember bitching about seeing his downfield passing virtually disappear. This explains it. Not being able to stretch the field really made moving the offense difficult at times.

All of this basically exactly how I feel, NFL is purely an entertainment source that has been proven over and over. 2018 was my tipping point also I really don’t care when the saints lose anymore because the shite is all pre-determined anyway, just take it for what it is betting apps and the NFL took tradition and sold it to Vegas. The NFL is just a money making machine now and whatever sells the most wins.

Imagine watching this team since he left and then criticizing him.

Loser.

Before starting to watch a game, just think about that ref control center in New York at NFL head quarters. They have every game up on a screen and each one is being watched and that guy watching the game can call down to the head ref in each game and intervene. Now, on paper, kinda sounds cool as it can be used for good. But reality is we can all see it's being abused.

But I bet he can still blow on his knees when BLM comes around though...

What’s wild is while we saw injuries pile up and his downfield threat ability deteriorate over the last couple of years, he never lost his accuracy which was always what set him apart imo.

I’d even venture to say that still today Brees would be more accurate than the vast majority of NFL QBs. There’s maybe a few that would be close

I kind of think he’d still be better as a lefty than Carr or Winston

If SP runs the ball 3 straight times instead of the 1st down slant to MT.
