He's the biggest thing to splash on the scene since Tiger. He seems to be a great kid too! Can't wait to see him in Augusta in April!

Aberg is 24.
Hovland is 26. We'll see

Spieth and Rory would disagree with you.
But he is awesome and an absolutely elite driver. A skill that's unlikely to go away.

Don’t forget Scotty. This is extremely hyperbolic. Frick Rose Zhang is higher on the list.

He’s certainly playing well and is a rising star.
Hopefully, he can continue. There’s no reason to start comparing him to Tiger or anyone else.

He is a good looking kid with an effortless swing that goes miles.

Aberg doesnt have near the pedigree that Hovland had. Im pretty sure Viktor won the US Am and the NCAA title.
Nick Dunlap and Gordon Sargent are the brightest young stars in American golf.
Sargent hits it as far as any of them. But Dunlap is a master putter and he is the one who is doing things only Eldrick has done.

Just saw some family friends- their kid coached Aberg at Tech. Kid’s father claimed Aberg is Tiger level. Hyperbole? Yes, but he was dead serious.

Well at 24 Tiger had just completed the career grand slam. So i would say the father is full of shite.

Lots of hyperbole and overreaction from one fall event win. The guy is good and has a really bright future but he might not even be the best young player on tour. Tom Kim is 3 years younger and has already won 3 times.

Morikawa started on a heater and had 2 Majors by 24.

The short answer, respectfully, is no.

Sargent may become great.
