I mean. This isn’t a situation that has ever happened to me.

Geez dude I always liked you. This is bizarre discovery.

My BIL and his wife have a 3 month old and are super protective. They are currently freaking out about my MIL trying to feed her pecan pie.

you are definitely not supposed to feed a 3 month old any actual food

Yeah I like how he worded like they are over protective that’s just common sense. You can’t give them actual food much less a sugar packed pie

son who is 6. He's acting like a little a-hole, running through the house, screeching at the top of his lungs for no apparent reason, grabbing stuff off of shelves, counters that aren't his and just leaving it all over. His parents are basically ignoring this bad behavior
it's probably just the trashy side of my family, but it feels like this has been normalized.

lots of family holiday parties i go to are basically just 4-10 little kids running around the house (including the main part of the house) screaming and probably playing some type of game. the mothers and grandmothers think it's cute i guess.

we could do that when i was a kid, it just had to be outside or downstairs. to me, babies and little toddlers are cute and can be the center of attention or whatever... but it's a lot less cute when the kids are like 5+ and not listening to their parents.

instead of parking in the driveway like a normal person would think to do, my dad drives into the middle of my front yard.

My dad exclusively parks on lawns. It’s some sort of ridiculous alpha move, but man I got to tell you. I low key respect it.

I forgot to post this last night or this morning, but I was also drunk.

We hosted Thanksgiving at the house. We had my wife's siblings stay the night. Once other guests left, we were just hanging around drinking and talking. We got to telling stories, and somehow we started telling embarrassing stories/moments of our lives. Well, when it came around to my 22 year old BIL, he's autistic. This was his story, "Well, I've jacked off to my sister before". He said literally nothing else, he left it at that.
My wife and her sister were obviously embarrassed/pissed/traumatized. My immature arse started instigating things, "so uhh, which sister was it, how many times did this happen, why your sister, was it recent?". He refused to say anything else. He isn't great with social interaction, but he knows he fricked up, so he didn't say a single word for the rest of the night.

BIL has 2 sisters, one is my wife, obviously (and she's technically only half sister), and the other sister who was also present. That moment pretty much ends the night. Nobody wanted to hang out after that. My wife and her sis stayed outside talking most of the night. When I've tried to pry and ask what they talked about, or ask which sister was he referring to, she told me to shut the frick up.

Idk how everyone will go back to ever unhearing that statement.

The best part is, you and the BIL might be Eskimo jerk brothers. Jacking to your wife or SIL isn't outside of the norm.

It says “I saw the condition of your lawn and didn’t think you would mind me parking in it”.
