For me it would be Minter from Michigan.
He runs a great attacking defense with sound technique, young and supposedly likes to recruit.
He’s from the south and has previous ties to coach Kelly. And his current head coach will probably be in the NFL next year.
To me the list should start with him

Lance Guidry would be a hell of a hire imo.

Just give me a defense that looks in LSU in the early 2000s. The stout attacking front 7 that will decleat you (within the rules that stand now) and the defensive backfield from the 2010s. Mix that with the offense from the 2020s and we can win multiple nattys.

LSU needs a complete defensive staff overhaul.

DC: Blake Baker or D’Anton Lynn (or Aranda if available)
DL: Jamar Cain or Bo Davis
DBs: Chevis Jackson

Taylor Swift. Hear me out. She will crush recruiting and they will do whatever she says to do. No?

D’Anton Lynn should get a strong look. He's originally from Texas. He is 34 years old so he can probably recruit decent. Making a million at UCLA so you double his salary.

Downside he's only been a DC for one season and he's probably jumping to the NFL at the first DC offer ala Joe Brady.

I don't think Kelly would bring back Aranda.

Not sure who fits this description, but here is what I would like.

Base Scheme: Either 4-3 or 3-4, don’t really care, but press man coverage for cornerbacks at least 75% of the time.

Additions: Consistently bringing pressure from different levels by aggressive play calling.

Someone hard-nosed who wants to hit a mf'er, teach fundamentals, and can recruit.
