I’ve got a 7 month old boy and as I sit in the stand this morning, all I can think about is when he’s old enough to come hunting with me. Can’t wait.

Firearm: coffee mug
Alarm was silenced on my phone and it was bright by the time a woke up. I still have stand cleanup that needs to be done for the upcoming season and while that’s probably a better use of my limited time at the camp I still hate that I missed hunting the first cold-ish morning of the year!

My son just shot a doe. Drinking some coffee and gonna get it taken care of. It’s been a great morning.

Shout out to the baw that ripped the reflective tape off my climber and piled up branches on top of it. I'll just have to stop leaving my climber overnight due to douches that think they own public land. No other stands anywhere near me.
Hunted that spot anyway and saw a nice buck walk by but couldn't get a shot (archery hunting).
