So gene therapy

A tablespoon of high quality cod liver oil every day, cutting seed oils, cutting sugar will fix you up in a month.

For heterozygous familial hypercholesteria . A lot of people have this. Diet or whatever doesn’t help. Repatha is current drug I take which is a miracle worker

One of the treatments, from Boston-based Verve Therapeutics, uses a gene-editing approach called base editing. It involves an IV infusion of a drug that targets the PCSK9 gene, which is instrumental in the production of LDL, often called "bad" cholesterol.

nromally i love this kind of stuff but these are gene therapies and mRNA....ill pass.

ill stick to the 6-8 oz of 100% pomegranate juice not from concentrate and 8,000 iu of nattokinase a day which also lower LDL, stroke risk and reduce calcium build up, are proven both effective and 100% safe with no side effects.

gene therapy and mRNA therapies have shown too much risk so ill pass for about a decade until the prove its safe.

I'm fat. I eat at least a lb of bacon a week. I eat probably 40lbs of red meat a month.

I actually have high lipoprotein a (or had it elevated when I got blood work last year). Interestingly I was getting over second bout of Covid and apparently immune response can really bump it high in the following weeks. Talked to a good cardio who said it wasn’t anything to worry about yet as I’m still early 40s and historically my panel looks pretty good. But I had a massive jump from very low lipids to significantly higher in recovery.
