He outscored the Vikings 16-0

He tied Carr's single game touchdown record (2023) in his first 3 drives

He did throw two interceptions, but ask yourself this. Would you rather a Qb drive the ball 30 yards down the field and throw an interception or just go three and out every time. A punt is just a 40 yard interception.

He costs $34 million less than the other guy. (this cant be emphasized enough)

This is not a pro-jameis thread, it just shows you how pathetic the Carr hire was. Although Jame did seem to have a little extra zip on a few of his passes.

I don’t know if he’s better but he’s certainly cheaper and we aren’t winning anything with either of them especially under this staff/front office.

Kinda silly to spend 40M a year with that in mind.

It really doesnt matter at this point. Jameis/Carr are besically the same guy with a different set of problems. Carr will not be benched due to the contract.

If carr cant go just go with Taysom or Haener. Id prefer Haener just to see if he has any type of future.

jameis is not under contract for next year. so i can really give a shite about jameis. (not trying to mean that in a negative way but in no way should he be a part of the future of this team)

Jameis is what he always was ... huge arm that gets big plays and back breaking turnovers.

I will always take more TDs if it means more turnovers over a ton of punts.

2 came in and immediately got Olave involved and started pushing the ball down the field.

Ill ride with him. That's all Ive been wanting personally. Get the ball to your playmakers down the field.

If he doesn't get his shot hopefully Carr takes a note from Jameis's play yesterday

Ill take an INT or 2 if you are being aggressive on offense.

Neither one of them are very football smart players.

They both flash occasionally and Winston has the bigger arm but they're basically the same player with a different number.

To make things worse we don't have creative coaches to minimize their weaknesses and design the offense to take advantage of their strengths.

Also the fact that the defense (While they finish strong most days) they are nowhere near the level of defense we thought we would have and likely should have. So winning on defense is not an option anymore.

If he was better he would be starting here or somewhere else in the league. Now I'm starting to have my doubts about Carr.

Wrong. Carr will start automatically because of his contract

You're assuming Carr would start anywhere else in the league. He wouldn't. Jameis wouldnt either.

Carr may be the 3rd best QB on the team.

I’m not so sure Andy Dalton isn’t better than Carr and he’s a backup.

Several teams had interest in Carr in the off-season. No team had interest in Winston. He took a pay cut to come back and be 2nd string.

Carr and Winston both suck. Those stupid stats Carr vs Brees suck even more.

Jamies is a better bang-for-the-buck but that doesn't say much.

Jameson will never start over Carr. Too many egos in play. Also Taysom > Carr,Jamesin
