It was pretty funny that when she became single she would suck a tinder date off in the driveway after one dinner. Guess she was saving up that sex drive. Side note, why do women tell each other these types of things

There was an interesting Peter Attia podcast episode with a doctor who specializes in women’s sexual health. Women experience sex differently than men. Men tend to be fairly linear in that arousal leads to desire. Also, men tend to always be in a heightened state of desire for sex, but even if they aren’t, it only takes a bit of arousal for them to want it.

Women can get aroused for sex, but they have much more difficult time desiring it. This is why many men express frustration towards their wives because their wives never want to have sex, but when they do, the sex is good. As you said, who doesn’t like to nut? Well, apparently women do but they don’t really want to.

Getting them into a state of desire requires a lot more effort and more of a coddled lifestyle to minimize stress. It also requires more emotional connection over a period of time for there to be a sustained, healthy sex life (desire).

At least, that’s how the doctor explained it.

When we were 55 my wife and I started to slow down a bit. Up until then it was every night, period or no period. And when the kids got older and left the house it was every night plus Saturday and Sunday morning. We are barely in our 60's now, and we are down to about five per week.

We started when we were 18 (not at that rate).

While we’ve never formalized anything in an “arrangement”, my wife and I still, after 27 years, get after it like a couple of newlyweds. I’d guess it’s probably two, or sometimes, three days a week. And we can’t pass by the other without pawing and groping at each other. I think what helps is that we are genuinely each other’s best friend, enjoy just being together, and making one another happy. Plus, we know each other’s dirty kinks.
