Who thinks that LSU will be a better football team next year?

Please explain. I do not. It seems very likely that the QB position will be worse. Maybe the Oline will be better, maybe running backs. Receivers? I doubt it.

What will the defense have next year. It is difficult to imagine that this unit could be worse, but who is coming in that will make it better.

A huge problem is the evident lack of game prep and in game adjustments.

Maybe not a huge regression but aside from landing some quality players in the portal I see about the same team next year. Not better or worse.

Did you expect Daniels to be putting up 500 yards a game this year the day after the Bama game last year?

The Defense has to be better? Right? The offense will take a step back. Overall, probably another 3-4 loss season.

This coaching staff is middling at best. Obviously the defense is perhaps the worst ever in program history. BK is struggling.

Not if we don't get rid of our DC. He is an idiot.

Next year about a little worse.

Kelly has a lot of work to do. Year 3 and we shouldn’t hear excuses about orgeron era.

If you remember the way BK was talking before the FS game he obviously didn't realize just how bad the defense was. That is of concern. We are right back to a rebuilding year one.

Everything is a problem, Lester. Can you just not see that? The coaches are responsible for who is in the program. No?

Exactly. Going nowhere in a hurry while KElly collects his checks. So far he gets a C.

Yeah, that was embarrassing. Losing Daniels is huge. No chance we are better next season.

no the defense will be the same unless the entire D staff is replaced with new blood, new ideas that give our potential recruits hope that they can succeed at LSU. If I was a HS coach D stud Dad, even if I would love for my son to play at LSU, I would have serious pause playing under these incompetent coaches. There are better HS coaches than these guys BK hired.

??? O line will be good. Nuss will be good. Denbrock will need to think a little more how to use him than “just let him sling it.” We’ll prolly run the ball well with RBs.

Defense needs to improve is all.

I don’t think that’s a rebuild.

CBK and staff should have no problem putting a 10-2 team on tbe field next year.

Losing Daniels

Last year Nuss and JD were arguably about equal.

Why cant you fathom the possibility that Nuss also develops?

JD is a 5th year starter. How many seasons has Nuss started?

I don’t think Nuss first season starting will be on the same level as someone who has had a deep heisman campaign. If you believe he will, and next years team will look better, good for you.

It will be hard to see year to year stability until they get another recruiting class or two into the program. It’s just something lsu fans will have to live with.

This was our year to make a run. Pre-season number 5 with talent all over the field. Next year could by abysmal.

Well, this was a monumental miscalculation. The defense has nearly no talent and less coaching.
