Lamar is a fair comparison. JD has great touch on the ball this season and has made a massive jump on progressions and trusting his arm. I’d be ecstatic for him. He’s a great dude and leader. Add 15 lb of muscle and he’s good to go. He’s not fragile by any means as is though.

JD is a very good college quarterback, and that's it.
His movements and mechanics are not quick and precise, and dos not know how "sell" plays like screen passes, play action and RPO plays. He throws a very nice deep ball and has improved a lot from last year, but he is a 4th rounder, IMO.

you're right.

I wasn't considering everything there. I really only half assed watched that game last night.

I've got no problems with his game at all. It's just you can only run so much in the pros before it could become an issue with the amount of hits he would be taking.

Please tell me this is a joke.

Maybe in the 4th or 5th round. Maybe.

Well no mock in this universe has him going that late. I love how this board automatically docks lsu players a couple rounds so they can not seem biased.

I’d love him as a backup. I don’t see him as a starter in the league. He’s similar to Kyler Murray, except a bit taller.

Lol, he's a lot taller. Like 6-7" taller.

No. I love him at LSU and he’s a warrior but I hate running QBs for the most part. Seems like almost all of them fizzle out after a couple of seasons.

Absolutely, I would. What reasonable football fan wouldn't?

Uh who wouldn’t want that kid as their QB? He’s Lamar Jackson with actual passing talent.

Delusional fan base. Jayden won't make it past pick 15 and I honestly think he's going in the top 10.

No. He is late/behind on many passes. He needs time to improve his decision making speed.

You'll be crazy if you think he'll be there in the 4th round. He'll be gone in the 1st. A tall, tough, fast-running QB who can pass and read defense is not going to go beyond the 1st round.
