I've done it myself. Cut back far as I can and use needle nose pliers to pull the deep piece out. Use peroxide and pack with cotton and neosporin.

They don't make anywhere near as much as MDs, but still make pretty good money, probably around 130k-140k a year

How do people get ingrown toenails, and not just take care of it themselves? You go to a doctor, because a toenail has penetrated your skin?
Dig it out with a knife, hydrogen peroxide, and a band aid pussy. This is why healthcare is expensive….because of bitches like this.

A lot. I have a buddy that’s an endodontist and you want to talk about making bank

What does this mean???????
What’s bank?? Give us a number

Does he make 350? 500? 700?

I’m busting my arse selling insurance to make 250. But I want to know what these other guys are making. I really admire their profession because I don’t have to deal with half the crap they deal with.

We’re entering the golden age of Podiatric surgeons. Our fat fricks with type 2 diabetes rate is higher than japans birth rate and a lot of those pork chops are gonna need to lose a foot or two when they don’t change a thing after their diagnosis.

You’re lucky you didn’t lose your toe. Never go to a fricking foot dentist. Always go to an MD.

Most get paid by medical insurance. A busy practice can make a lot of money.

If they bill your insurance, just know they aren't living paycheck to paycheck.

No problems with mine from 1987. Had it done when I was 17.

Length doesn't matter, they ain't putting the whole thing in.

It's the gauge that matters. And it ain't big, I promise you.

Also, that's what she said.

I've had it done twice, once for each big toe and the relief is immediate once the offending toenail is removed.

The damn shot to deaden the toe was the worst part and even that was not so bad compared to all the pain I was in before having the procedure done.

My quack family doctor ruined my toe at nine years old. I had a bad ingrown nail. He pulled the entire thing and it has been growing fricked up ever since. I have to pull the nail myself once a year with a pair of needle nose pliers because it grows into my skin at a certain point and my toe looks like a chicken nugget.

The speed at which this cute Asian lady podiatrist moved was breathtaking. I was sitting up watching the whole procedure, which will result in a permanent 25% loss of my big toenail. And the shite works. Had the other one done 5 years ago, zero problems thereafter.

If you’ve had to have ingrown toenail surgery twice either your shoes are too tight or you’re too fat

I lost weight and got different boots and haven’t had problems in years
