Cleveland: BI, Val and picks from NYK
Knicks: Mitchell
Pels: Barret, Quickley, Allen
Call it in, everyone can get what they want/ need, and Knicks keep enough ammo and salary to still pull off a KAT trade.

I can think of a trade for all other 31 teams for BI, I’m done with this dude

You’ll miss BI if he’s gone. Promise.

You might, but he’s needed to be gone for 2 years now for the sake of this team

He's rarely on the court so it won't be too bad

They could have just draft mark Williams
Or Jalen Duren
Or Jalen Williams
Or Jalen Duren
Or Jalen Williams

This right here and add Kessler...drafting Dyson when we had 4 ball handlers, as well as Herb/Naji on cheap deals, and we were thin up front made no sense. It's a killer.
ETA: I think Dyson may end up being a nice piece, but it's still unfortunate, and this isn't one of those hindsight is 20/20 situations. A ten year old playing 2k could look at our roster and realize this wasn't a great move.

quote:Dyson was drafted 8 overall. No one in their right minds would have taken Kessler at #8, not really valid to say we could have gotten him. It's not realistic.

In hindsight, it's obvious. In the moment, no one had Kessler being what he's been, which is why he went 22 overall.

The point is that Kessler is a front court player, but yes, he wasn't going to be drafted at 8.
ETA: Add Sochan to this debate.

I admit I was a slight lean to Sochan over Dyson but even with Dyson's struggles, I think I will be proved wrong on that one. Dyson will eventually be a very solid performer, for the Pels...jmo

I hope you’re right because I love Dyson’s defense. But I just wish the kid would crack double digit scoring once in a while. Especially when we’re lacking scoring depth.

We’ll see but the clock is ticking on his contract and he hasn’t shown much improvement in his offensive game. I’d take Sochan right now. Dyson hasn’t shown flashes like Trey showed early.

I agree. His defense is elite and I have seen some offensive improvement this year. Obviously the shot isn’t there, but as solid as his form is I think it eventually will get there. Right now with all the injuries we need more offense from him that he’s just not ready to deliver. Can’t really fault him on that.

The amount of people who assured me that drafting a center in the 1st was a terrible idea sure are eager now to use assets to look for an upgrade at the position…

Almost every person on this board loved the pick. It's not hindsight is 20/20, it's revisionist history.

Looking more and more like the Lakers punked Griffin on the AD trade, doesn’t it?
