Long story short, 85 year old Grandfather (no pics) is doing fine but when he dies wants me to promise to spread his ashes at mid field. He is being cremated and has not told anyone else. Thoughts?

Do it. Just know that if you’re caught sneaking a bag of gray/white-ish powder into tiger stadium, you should simply say it’s cocaine. Way less weird.

Do it and don’t ask permission.

Just carry them in your pocket to each game and wait for the next time we rush the field.

Don't they shop vac the ashes up? The ashes would kill the grass. Does your grandfather have another place around campus that he likes. Like a place you always tailgated?

my wife has spread ashes of her parents over quite a few cool parts of the world, you don't have to dump the entire bag out at once, that said it would have been much easier to do a few years ago before they tightened up security, use your imagination

Take the stadium tour. When you get to the field, tell the guide it's always been a dream of yours to stand at midfield. Of course, you will have a hole in your pocket and the bag of ashes, which will conveniently fall as you walk the line.

Do it!

He didn't say to do it during a game.

Schedule one of those tours, or participate in the Tiger Stadium marathon or the golf event they hold there. Get close to midfield, say your goodbyes and be discrete.

I feel like you made this up. No way grown adults care about football this much

I'm here for it because it means we win a big enough game for you to not get busted when the crowd rushes the field. In short, EPIC game.

Put a bag in your pocket full of gramps when you go to the next game... Drop some all around the place; he won't know the difference.

We spread my dad's ashes per his request- specifically on 16 green where my folks lived... But I left a little for the bunker because that dude lied his arse off playing golf. He needed to pay with some ashes for all those lies.

If you manage to actually do it, just know that the ashes are going to get vacuumed up and your grandfather's final resting place will be a trashbag.

Easy to do. When the time comes, sign up for that short race they have that ends on the field in Tiger Stadium. Just bring a small amount of ashes and drop them as you run across the field. No one would ever know.

Edit :Race is the Tiger 10K. Happens in November each year.
