Ask my wife. She didn’t want to stretch hers out. Tiny little scar. Cooch is all good; no trauma.
Good woman right there.

Absolutely. The wife’s eating disorder. Screw her if she’s not willing to help herself BUT
There’s absolutely no reason to remain with a women you don’t respect until your kids are 18 if you spend those years fat shaming their mother and teaching them that your love and respect are conditional on appearance. Kids twist that shite and that’s how eating disorders start.

Give those kids all sorts of psychological issues because his wife was fat. More guys should definitely be like that.

I take care of me for you.
You have to take of you for me.
That’s the ground rule.
And don’t run out of ketchup and hot sauce.

I'm not agreeing with him but she definitely didn't show she loved him by not exercising and gaining all that weight.

Cheaper to keep her, sadly.

Are we making the assumption that OP’s “friend” is where he’s supposed to be from a weight/fitness perspective?
Or is he one of those OT baws who is 6’4”, 280, who played high school football?
No, he was an athlete and still in good shape.
Otherwise I would have told him to look in the mirror.

If you partner respects you they won’t let themselves go. It’s very easy not to look like a disgusting slob.

Generally kids pick up behavior from their parents and their peers. Not what we tell them to do. What they actually really do.
Granted there are exceptions but the biggest (not a pun) risk for the kids is terrible food habits by the person feeding the children.
The father in this case has a responsibility to be a better role model with both eating and exercise if he wants to give the kids a better role model (and preserve his own health).

Another example of why you should never get married.

Always check out the mother. A lot of the time that's how the future wife is going to turn out.
