And we missed like our last 5 wide open ones.

That’s what happens when your best player plays 2 feet from the rim. Guys will be open. They need to just jack up the shots. Volume.

Zion really started to look comfortable in the 2nd half. Didn’t look like himself until those two dunks.

A lot of them were open looks too and the Grizz are a really solid defensive unit without Ja out there.

And then we’ll get Trey back a month from now

Was 14/28 50% before the last couple minutes just throwing up shots at the end not bad for no Trey

Want more shot attempts in the future. 32 should be the minimum

Will disappear into the end of the bench by game 20. We won't even remember he is on the team by then.

Maybe but if you can sign a guy off the street to help you win a NBA game- you already won.

Yep. That 9 point performance in the second swung the momentum and we never looked back.

A ton more movement on offense this year. Zion finally got his feet under him in the 4th and took off

Scary thing is Zion went from an afterthought to taking over and it was damn good.

Healthy --- this is a balanced squad.

He wasn’t even playing that bad. He got fouled with a no call 2-3 times got horrible passes on at least 3 lobs that should have been easy dunks and he went for long stretches without touching the ball in the first 3 quarters. Coaching noticed and we got him the ball with purpose in the 4th. All the problems we had tonight are fixable.

Zion attacking middle while the Pelicans use their non shooters to screen for their shooters to occupy the help. I used to pray for times like this!

He always takes like 5-10 games to get back to peak zion. We saw it last year.

I agree. And I totally want to be wrong about him disappearing. But at worst, his presence will have to be accounted for in the next month or so just because of what he did last night.

Not if he keeps shooting the ball and playing defense like he did last night.
