I expect the spread to come down as we get closer.

Thinking this finishes with Bama being a 3 pt favorite. If the points are less than 65 I would take the over.

What do y’all say?

LSU should be a 7 point favorite. I’d load up on us

That's a pretty big move. I doubt the betting public is nearly that bullish on us, esp on the road.

I'd say +3.5 would be the absolute lowest it would go, and that might take a milroe injury or something.

frick the spread. I want everyone to count us out and have us as the underdogs so we can carry the big chip on our shoulders in the game.

Alabama is one of (if not the) most bet on team in college football by the public with a cover rate of like .550 the last ten years and have been a favorite more than anyone else in that span.

LSU may get sharp money but the public won't let this get and stay that low.

The public loves favorites in general and Bama is one of the favorites they love the most.

Objectively, I wouldn't touch this as a bet.

I truly don't see LSU as a favorite, because of our defense vs their offense.

The 2 things Milroe does well is scramble/run, and throw bombs. Our secondary doesn't cover well, and really doesn't cover well for an extended play.

I could see LSU flushing him from the pocket, and if he moves and looks downfield, there will be guys running wide open. That's something he has shown he can hit, and something we've shown we can't cover.

I think we have to keep him in the pocket, and force him to make throws accurately and on time. We don't fare very well against that, but he struggles to be a rhythm passer.
If we send blitzes, he's going to scramble for a lot of yards.

Our offense has been very efficient, but I think this will be the best defense we've seen for the past month or more.

I think we're gonna need 40, and I don't know that we can hang that on Bama. We MIGHT. God, it would be nice to have a couple guys emerge in the secondary.

I've been saying it'll be less than a TD all along, I actually think +5.5 is the right number, I think by kickoff it'll be pretty close to that.

If it ends up 5.5 that’ll be huge for us. Means Vegas wants the public to hammer the 6.

This is going to be an interesting line that I think will move both ways. Generally the rule of thumb is to bet favorites early and dogs late but Alabama is one of the most publicly bet on CFB team in America so even as a favorite they're going to get a ton of late money. Not sure how low it will get but I think it's going to rise again after the dip.

I think your LSU fandom is blinding a bit. I don’t think it moves that much. I’ll come back if I’m wrong but I just don’t see it happening. I think most people have a hard time betting against Alabama more than they want to bet on LSU. History plays more than you think.

It’s already touching 3. And people ITT are overestimating how much impact “the public” has on a college football line
