Pete Thamel Tweet
This does not seem good for Michigan.
quote:
Sources: Michigan staffer Connor Stalions bought tickets for more than 30 games at 11 Big Ten schools over the past three years. Also, video evidence of sideline taping is expected to be sent to the NCAA this week, caught by stadium surveillance this year.
This does not seem good for Michigan.

This is as stupid as the “scandal” over Patriots staffers deflating footballs by 5% for Michigan legend Tom Brady.

Does the casual fan even care about this? I just assume all programs are cheating to some extent.
Did we assign a specific ___ Gate to this scandal yet?

It is a fricking stupid rule but it is a rule.
Question is whether UM tells the NCAA to frick off. The Big Ten would be a different matter.

I definitely do not care, but buying tickets under your own name as a staffer seems pretty stupid. And the NCAA seems to have it out for Harbaugh. Let's see if UM decides to try to fight it.

Harbaugh about to dip the frick out

I want a list of games. If there is a combo of two of these three teams: Iowa/Northwestern/Indiana then he is exonerated.
He has served his punishment in advance.

Another Tweet from Dan Murphy about ticket buying
quote:
Michigan's suspended staffer paid for tickets on both sides of the stadium for this past weekend's Penn State-Ohio State game. They went unused on Saturday.

I doubt the NCAA punishes the players for this
Harbaugh and the school are gonna get hit for something for sure
Probably another significant suspension for Harbaugh which might make him bolt for NFL
Probably won't know till the offseason at this late point in the season
The analyst/staffer will be banned from working in college athletics again
Michigan looking at a hefty fine as well

Harbaugh is an odd guy that rubs people the wrong way. I definitely think the ncaa and big 10 coaches want him gone.

Should’ve scalped them and put the proceeds towards the fine

If it hadn't been done since the dawn of football in one way or another I might care but it has. I'd tell the NCAA to go frick themselves. They almost make we want to root for Michigan to win it all just to see them quake about the thought of yet another "abandoned" title under their watchful eye.

What equipment were they using to steal information?
I get that it's a rule that was broken, but what is the competitive advantage gained?
what specifically was this dude doing?

Their upcoming class has to be a big concern for Michigan now

I absolutely loath Michigan, but this would be an awesome outcome.
