I've seen some comments elsewhere about our scoring 62 being disrespectful. It was hard not to score. I don't think it was disrespectful. I'm not sure what those folks would suggest we should have done. Sat on the field?

I imagine their players need to go through the same background vetting that other pledges do. The talk to your neighbors, your grade school teachers, all your relatives, …. You don’t get in unless you are spotless. Those young men just also happen to be football players. I wonder what their highest ESPN or star rating player is?

Our military failed in Afghanistan after 20 years. Our military equipment has ended up failing our proxy in Ukraine. Our military standards are lower than ever before. More obese than ever before. Lower recruiting numbers than ever before. It's not unreal to compare our military might to other world powers that have demonstrated success on the battlefield where we have not. China can manufacture naval vessels at a 200% greater frequency than we can. Our military personnel are great people but our leadership sucks arse. It's our right, no our DUTY, to criticize our military because we need them to protect us....andisrael apparently

We ran the same run play for the 4th quarter and they couldn’t stop it. With 3rd and 4th string might I add.
I wish they ran 90 on them after that late hit from ole boy in the 2nd.
We could have scored 100. No bullshite

I played Div III ball...we were national contenders and we beat a team 83-0. Lots of criticism the next day about running the score up. I started at o-guard and played 3 series...same as the rest of the starters...including the QB and all the backs...clean sweep sit down before the end of the first qtr. If we had had a uniform the equip manager would have played...so our coach responded to the criticism by outlining the number of people who played some for the first and last time in their college years. Then he asked the press and the other critics...was he supposed to tell all these kids who had practised..some for 3 years without playing, they were not supposed to play as well as they could and to score if they could. I don't like to see a coach run up a score on purpose...that didn't happen Saturday night. They got a chance to play and play they did. I don't recall that Army emptyed their bench.

They're under the UCMJ while they're at WP and once they pass sophomore year they can't leave without spending time on active duty. I understand what you're saying because they aren't commissioned and don't even have a rank but realistically they certainly aren't civilians anymore either.
