It's no secret, everything woke turns to shite.

That's not very progressive of you.

What they realized is men actually buy a lot of that shite for women, and no dude is inspired to drop coin on sexy stuff for his girl when the pics in the store look like an orca got caught in a gill net.
Sex sells… the opposite of that is true as well.

You mean morbidly obese models don’t translate to an uptick in revenue? I’m shocked.

Wait, nobody wanted to see 200lb women wearing lingerie?

Hot women don't shop where mammoths buy their parachutes.

Uh oh. Somebody will make a new terrible song about them and flash mob!

Who would have thought that attractive people sell products and fat, unattractive people repulse people? Especially when it comes to underwear!
The company's mistake was thinking 'Fat ugly women can't relate to these beautiful models. They want to see people like them represented.'
That thinking was illogical. I watch a lot of college football. All of those players are more athletic than I ever was. I don't want to see people like me playing college football.

Except for the covid vaccines. Not one word mentioned of any possible adverse side effects.

Who knew most fat arse women don't shop at Victoria's Secret???
Screw companies that go woke and try to walk it back. Not forgiven. I don't shop there though...

Welp...I called this years ago!
Me being awesome in June of 2021
Me being awesomer in October 2020
People should really listen to me...I'm wise and shite.

Cathaleen Chen reported that the brand’s efforts to promote inclusivity – which included making LGBTQ pro women's soccer player and outspoken leftist Megan Rapinoe, as well as a transgender woman, brand spokesmodels and getting rid of its famous "Angels" supermodels – gained "favorable reviews from online critics [but] never translated into sales."
This describes most of Hollywood and entertainment in general as well. It turns out, buzz from activists on Twitter does not equate to ticket sales, or merchandise sales. We saw it happen in real time with Bud Light when the VP stated point blank she disliked the actual customers.
This all goes back to ESG, CEI etc scores. sure, there are activists that have breached the walls of these companies that are true believers and don't give a single frick about sales, just the message...but a lot of them are just trying to go along to get along and consumers have to FORCE THEM to drop this stuff. Complaining and still buying their product is pointless.

Nobody, not even women, want to look at fat or ugly women in lingerie

Correct. And advertising is more about brand awareness and constant bombardment. If you bombard viewers with unpleasant imagery they will simply not watch and ignore, thus guaranteeing all the money you spent on the ad is wasted because people don't want to see or think about your brand because it is ugly.
It's really not rocket science and these big corporations are failing at basic stuff that was figured out decades ago.

Maybe a year+ ago, walked into VS with my wife and there was a floor to ceiling pic of a black chick who had to weigh at least a buck 90 wearing some kind of skimpy shite. After suppressing the nausea, I told my wife we were bouncing out and there's no way she was spending anymore money there.
