Bass looks like a young Draymond Green in that pic.

Love it! Xavier Mitchell was always one of my favorite Tigers. He had a sweet 3-point shot and when he got hot he was deadly.

I seen him out run the ball on fast breaks lol
to this day the only player on any team I've ever rooted for that I would shout SLOW DOWN and set it up anytime they had the ball on a fast break

Bass had a long career in the NBA. His jump shot from 15 foot in was smooth and money.

You have confused Darrel Mitchell with Xavier Whipple.

Mitchell was the 3pt ace. Whipple was a steady pg with a poor shot.

This is how I will always remember Tack Minor

It always looked like he was wearing a Shaq sized uniform.

It's wild how he looks EXACTLY the same.

Need to see if we can sneak him on the floor this season.

Knowing the issues they had with each other, it is really cool to see that in 2021. Minor called up Brady and invited him to his high school jersey retirement ceremony. Even cooler that Brady said he would be honored and showed up.

I saw him play in high school, and if you thought he looked fast playing against college dudes...

Xavier Whipple jersey spotted before kickoff. Figured it was family.

Top 5 LSU name. Up there with Barkevious Mingo.

Both guys were egotistical head cases when they were at LSU together. That created a big time personality clash. However, as it does for all of us, age tends to bring wisdom and maturity, and both guys probably came to realize they were a lot alike. That led to a good relationship several years removed from the early 2000s.

If you would have told me John Brady would be fired by LSU, mid-season, 1.5 years after leading LSU to the Final Four, only to return a little over 10 years later to be the radio-analyst I would have laughed at you.

Coaching is an intense grind and most guys probably don't realize how fun it can be when they are going through it. I would bet if you asked him now, almost 10 years removed from coaching, Brady would tell you some of the best years of his life were spent as the LSU HC. That's why he's back with the program and seemingly so much more calm and happier now.

And to top it off, he does an excellent job as a radio analysts too. The role seems to fit him perfectly and you can tell he genuinely loves LSU.

I had hope for Tack when he started playing much better towards the end of his sophomore year. Then he has a knee injury and that was the end of his career. He had some talent if he could ever gotten under control.
