Freedom of Worship

How are there 184,000 people in the State of Louisiana that went and voted that they don’t believe in the freedom to worship being a fundamental human right?

I voted against it because it’s redundant and pointless. Freedom of worship is already enshrined in the state and federal constitutions.

Western and northern white liberal transplants

It’s in the US Constitution and already protected.

No different than this amendment.

Seems like a large number but small percent, 10% is avg according to Google, which is probably where you’re around. 184k of 4.6 is 4%, then remove under 18 and those who didn’t vote.

Because it’s already protected by the Constitution as a fundamental right. The term “House of Worship” only creates another loophole for manipulation in the future

Because during Covid some governors shut down church gatherings. While allowing bars and other businesses to remain open.

Yeah?
Why did churches get shut down during covid?
This ammendment prevents that horseshite

I assume that means that there are 184,000 that understand our current protections. Should be more concerned about the inverse that thinks this is necessary.

How did the current protections work out during COVID?

Not with this clarity.
Do you remember all the houses of worship closing down during Covid?
You just ousted yourself as one of the individuals the OP mentioned.
Thanks.

Explain that to the inbred sloth who is leaving the mansion in January.

Well, the challenge of the shutdown was successful, and it would presumably remain so. This is big, redundant government.
Are you one of those people that is against big government, but only when its bigness is against your beliefs?

It’s still good for more protection even at the state level.
Look at California, Illinois, NY, and others. We have the second amendment, but the citizens in those states practically do not enjoy the fundamental right to keep and bear arms.

The fact that there was even a need to challenge means that it apparently wasn’t clear enough. As for big government, at least this went through a freaking amendment process to be voted in by the people as opposed to executive fiat that prompted the need for the amendment in the first place.
