The majority consensus by biblical scholars is that it was written in the 60s AD, prior to the destruction of the temple.

This is not the opinion of the majority of biblical scholars. Most New Testament scholars believe it was written in the 90's AD referring to the persecutions of The Roman Emperor Domitian.

This is quite accurate!“

I can accept this. Only “bad” Catholics become Protestants because they finally realize the truth of Romans 3….there is no one that is righteous, no, not one. There is no one who does good, no, not even one.

So, “bad” Catholics realize what the Scripture teaches: you can’t work or earn your salvation. Righteousness must be attained to be saved and that is only imputed by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. It’s the beautiful doctrine of the substitutionary atonement of Christ.

Paul isn't talking about individual righteousness, or lack thereof, he's speaking of corporate righteousness. Meaning, neither Jew nor Gentile as a whole are righteous as a people.

Agreed, because if they were good Catholics, they would know this is exactly what the Catholic church teaches about initial justification.

The majority consensus
Not sure what a majority consensus means but I would disagree and say most Biblical scholars put it at around AD 95

A revealing or unveiling.

So singular and not plural as I suggested, no?

Correct.

I don’t know why the preview function accurately reflects the Greek letters, and then after posting it replaces the Greek letters mostly with question marks.

Zecharaiah 12:3

3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.

Failed prophecy. I don’t think Zechariah had foreseen Jerusalem to be conquered by Alexander, and then various Greek empires, and then Rome, and then utterly destroyed by Rome in 70CE… only to be rebuilt by Hadrian in 129 erecting temples to Jupiter, then becoming a Christian city with the Jews killed or banished. Then came the Muslims…

Doesn’t sound like it actual became an immovable rock to me.

The city to which Zechariah referred was completely and utterly destroyed and the site of the former city was abandoned and not populated for nearly 60 years thereafter. A new city was built by Hadrian and named Aelia Capitolina. It was hundreds of years later that the city was renamed Jerusalem.

Zechariah and Ezekiel were false prophets. I’m not picking on them specifically though because all prophets are false prophets.

I posted some interesting things as the OP asked.

I don't give out personal info here, if I did you wouldn't be such an ignorant person being flippant. Why are you in this thread if you think it is whackadoodle?

It is an interesting topic.

I’m very interested in religions. Many different ones.

I don’t think the Bible contains prophecies that speak to modern-day events.

And I’m not ignorant, but please don’t be coy and act as if this thread is full of wide eyed people yearning for knowledge. Many of the same people in this thread have uttered horrible things about Muslims.

I haven't taken the time to read this thread.

I am not being coy.

It seems you are ignorant conflating that our media has'nt promulgated muslims as the enemy.

People have seen them as brutal animals beheading and throwing gay people off buildings. As well as them lowering people in cages to drown.

Even the most basic person posting here that has never left Alabama, knows that while the customs are barbaric, and some sects are radicalized into animals that fight like a gang member... there are good people that are muslims.

So because I am not sure if prophecy applies today-or not----or if I have faith-- I am a whackadoodle?

You are strange.
