I’m not saying Vaughn is my first choice. FA market doesn’t really excite me other than Bellinger but he’ll be too expensive.
So we have the trade capital for a big time trade? Maybe.
I’d rather Vaughn in LF if it frees up enough to go after starting pitching. But if we can do both, then great.

Any move doesn't matter if Snit is still leading this team.

Braves already have the best hitting roster, one of the best defensive and pitching.

What they need is a manager which can instill some personality and not panic like a bitch and ruin the player's confidence with bad pitching setups and last minute changes to the hitting lineup.

I get as frustrated with Snitker's bullpen and general pitching management as anyone, but this team has already won a WS with him at the helm. The bats going ice cold two straight postseasons in a row isn't on him.

Making the manager as the scapegoat is just way too lazy.

Wow. With that news and the Eddie rumor, looks like we're going after someone big.

Eta: no seeing that on Twitter yet

Until the NLCS, when their “killers” also disappeared.

Postseason baseball isn’t random but it’s damn close.

Counsell to the Cubs. Maybe they'll go into rebuild mode and we can get some of their pitching.

I just assumed we would keep Morton until he was ready to hang it up.

Happy to get that $20m off the books I guess, but only if we use it for a better pitcher.

They wom that WS inspite of the bad decisions he made with the pitching.

He messed with the lineup this season and was shocking the record hitting team couldn't hit at all.

I get he is a protected sacred animal on here, however the success of this team is because AA not Snit.

Um, he managed the pitching pretty much perfectly in '21, WTF are you talking about?

The Game 1 lineup was a front office call. True Snit went along w/it but if you think that was his idea then you're clueless.

Atlanta is exercising its $20 million option on right-hander Charlie Morton, sources tell ESPN. There was significant discussion within the organization about declining it, but ultimately the Braves decided to bring back Morton, who is beloved in Atlanta, for another season.
