There is a huge difference in evacuation of citizens and going after kidnapped citzens.

JUST IN: Polish President authorizes the deployment of 200 Polish Military soldiers to evacuate Polish citizens in Israel.

ANALYSIS: There is no reason for Poland to send soldiers to Israel to evacuate citizens, unless it's in relation to the Polish citizens taken by Hamas.

Maybe they should take some of those direct action resources and put them toward intel collection and analysis. This was a Pearl Harbor level failure.

Yep. The post mortem on the IDF frickup is not going to be pretty.

Some chatter on IDF having a cyberattack leading up to the events, but that doesn't excuse the alleged whiff on seeing something this big.

Israel is going to mercilessly hunt everyone of them down and kill them. Mossad is pretty crafty and will find them. Even Iran cannot protect people from Mossad inside Iran.

You think Iran cares about what happens to those individuals, Hamas is a proxy. Much like the drug trade whoever they kill will just be replaced.

What are his credentials again? He a military analyst or geopolitical expert?

Podcaster?

Googled...he is an Dubai Angel investor. No doubt he has insight on Polish military movements.

But he has a blue check.

Who do you think most of the strippers in Tel Aviv are ETA: from? This is probably an excuse for range time for the Poles, no objections here.

don't think I'm acting like that, but I admit I'm ignorant on the level of multinational tourism there is in Israel.

A friend of mine went on Viking (or similar high end) cruise in late May/early June. They went to Greece first for about a week. The they cruised to Israel and spent a couple or three days there, and then drove to Jordan for a few days in Petra. Then back to Israel! I think they flew home from Tel Aviv, but I'm not positive.

I asked her what she was going to do when some Palestinians hijacked their tour van. She insisted that everything was fine and there was no danger.

I talked to her today, but didn't bring it up. Neither did she.

A bunch of my parent's friends made a trip to the Holy Land. It was a pretty popular place to visit for Catholics with disposable income.

Speak for yourself, we have serious differences but countries shouldn't be allowed to frick with AMERICANS overseas regardless whether they are moronic liberals or nut job conservatives

And keep in mind the foreign countries don't discriminate based on domestic political leanings so if we give them a pass for fricking with a liberal American today they will frick with a conservative American tomorrow

I would bet they are sending multiple air craft with a security force to evacuate citizens. Not to sending polish troops traipsing around Israel looking for poles.

Helping evacuate citizens from Israel does not necessarily mean and probably doesn’t mean going into Gaza

I think we're one (R) president away from a whole lot of Iranian accidents occurring. Trump killing Soleimani proved punishment worked. The west decided illegal settlement was of more importance, and did EU style things. And, we get a new 9/11. Don't forget, 1k people in Israel is monumentally worse than 3k in the the US.

Car accident? So sad. Fast flying object from 10k feet impact your vehicle? Whoops. Did your tire explode at 100 km/h and send you into a ditch with alligators and hippos? So sorry.

Apparently the Navy was on the ball. They lit up the boat raiders pretty good and few if any got ashore.

Maybe the rocket attacks wouldn't have altered the Navy activity like they were at road blocks and land crossings.

Navy probably isn't taking cover and just manning the scopes.

Just seems IDF would have heard/seen a lot of movment leading up to the event.

The IDF overall should have. But, we're talking about under 100 shooters (at current count). We had one shooter in Vegas that killed a bunch of people, but nobody noticed. I'm not excusing intel failures at all, but IL needs to be on point every time around Yom Kippur.

I would be happy if Iranian rigs and ships started slipping beneath the waves. On accident, of course.

The reports I've seen and heard said over 1,000 Hamas fighters crossed into Israel.

I got 8 buses with eight shooters a pop, not to include the weirdos on ultralights. I don't know what makes you weirder, being a terrorist, or flying an ultralight, THEN deciding to shoot random people.

We could always evacuate Gaza and Lebanon to the EU. Bye.
