I don't pretend to know the deeds of a couple of million people but I do know killing them would make Israel a pariah nation and the Muslim world would destroy them eventually.
In 2023 were they to go out on that limb they would have to stand alone, forever.

The "roof knock" was caught live on Al Jazeera just before they leveled it. The IDF has been using the technique for a long time. They hit a building with a missile sans warhead to get everyone near it to GTFO then they blow it up a few minutes later.

Just stumbling into this thread so forgive me if this has already been answered.
The problem is Hamas loads those targets up with civilians. What do you do if you're the IDF and Hamas is firing rockets from the campus of a school or right beside a hospital?
Or a UN building?
If Israel isn't yet to the point where they just say "frick it" and go scorched earth, it wouldn't surprise me if they reach it soon if this goes on for long (especially if Hamas gets reinforced from Iran).

Very obvious what’s going on here. Multi-tiered goals on the regional, international and super-power level.
Iran and Hamas don’t want Israel to become more friendly with other Arabs. Dead Palestinian videos will fix that. And will drive more angry young men to their volunteer centres.
Russia gets eyes and focus out elsewhere at least for a bit.
Russia And china hope it spirals out of control and get US arms and money tied up in another conflict. Taiwan and other things could even be at play.

Hezbolah has been moving forces in Lebanon south to the border with Israel. Israel is now moving armor and artillery north to the border with Lebanon…
Also, Syria is putting an Infantry division and armored division on alert.
