Is this if you don’t include the cost of chicken wings like the government does with inflation?

It's pretty funny how you and all the leftist media are putting these articles out every day and not one person has seen the decrease when shopping.

We have one piece of hard evidence in here. He has confirmed that the prices are lower for him but the restaurant won't lower the prices on the menu because basically everything else is through the roof.

He works for a large corporation so I'm guessing you're ecstatic about that now with yalls 180 recently

It’s even funnier when people obsessed with misery and “acceleration” double down on doom-casting and shitting on the world, even in the face of data

it's still $4+ per LBS at the store

I've gotten sanderson farms wings from Winn Dixie for $1.99 a pound when on sale a bunch in the past year. I love wings so any time I see them on sale I grab a couple of flats. They've been on sale at least once a month like that.

Yet, prices for said wings at a restaurant haven’t gone down. Makes you wonder.

Last Saturday I paid $9 bucks for 15 Sanderson Farms wings that needed separating into 30 pieces. I thought that was good. $1.89/pound.

Those are good looking wings.

No they aren't.

The two cups of ranch dressing, fries, and bucket of beer to go with them, possibly.

For a while, wings were the most valuable portion of the chicken. That's why everyone was pushing "boneless wings" - it was cheaper!
Wings were damn near a luxury for a while.

Someone should inform chicken wings restaurants of this. Their prices are still sky high

The restaurants will be the last ones to lower prices. Look to grocery stores first

The Department of Agriculture's price index for chicken wings is now at levels not seen since 2018...

Well, that chart shows it was lower in 2020 than in 2018.

Have been like that for some time now. Immediately everyone thinks it will be cheaper on the menu not thinking that extra profit margin is being used to pay for something else. Overall, it is not cheaper to operate my restaurant or execute my menu

I take it you're saying the reduction in cost of chicken is being offset by operating costs? I'm sure this is part of it, but I also think restaurants have very little incentive to lower prices. Demand for eating out isn't going away.
