Counterpoint: the fact that we have an elite offense already in year two is awesome and a sign of good things to come. The program was in shambles two years ago and it takes time to build it back up.

Oh no man. The great offense is no credit to Kelly. Daniels fell out of a tree. Remember?

A national champion? He certainly has won championships, and he has been the national runnerup. quote: Championships 2 NCAA Division II (2002–2003) 3 MIFC (1992, 1997–1998) 3 GLIAC (2001–2003) 1 MAC (2006) 2 Big East (2008–2009) 1 SEC Western Division (2022)
That list is not as impressive as you want it to be.

Not celebrating this type of thing is what sets us apart from lots of schools!

This is a weak tired argument! Sometimes ya find lightning in a bottle, Burrow/Chase/Jefferson etc. was just that. Similar to Chizik finding Cam and Jimbo having Jameis! Kelly has been around a long long time and has failed to capitalize on the talent he’s had. Just cause people win the lottery every week does not mean that it makes financial sense to put all your eggs in that basket!

And how does that happen? We’re simply not paying enough.

This place is like a sewing circle full of gossip and bitching. You'll be called out for pumping sunshine, etc, but most fail to recognize how bad this place was when Kelly walked in. The coaching search was drawn out for a reason which was finding the guy that had the balls to undertake such a monumental task.

Yeah, and neither were coach miles or Coach Orgeron before they got here. Give it some fricking time.

This place celebrated a SEC west championship even though there was absolutely no way they were winning the SEC champ game.

Guys, we have an excellent head coach that knows how to build a program. He’s done it multiple times before at every stop along the way, and he will do it here. It’s hard to realize in the moment after a tough loss, but he is already doing so.
BK has ALWAYS had a great DC with really good defenses. His DCs constantly get better jobs. The dude knows how to hire

This is an absolute anomaly.

Has he built a program to be able to win a national championship? Because if not, then I don’t really care
there is no coach you could or could've hired that has that qualifications.

It’s not in game during the season issues that worry me. It’s the new age of college football with NIL. It’s a different era and as of right now we’re behind on that front. If we get too far behind it can get ugly fast. Just something to monitor.

Goodness, not this crap again...let's look at the HC experience of these fella before they arrived at LSU

Saban:
6 Years
1 Year at Toledo
5 Years at MSU

Miles:
4 Years all at Ok St.

Orgeron:
<4 Years
3 years at Ole Miss
interim for 8 games at USC

Kelly:
32 years
13 years at Grand Valley State
3 years at Central Michigan
4 years at Cincinnati
12 years at Notre Dame

Let's give Kelly the benefit of the doubt and only consider D1 jobs since he did win D2 championships

That leaves him with
19 years
3 years at Central Michigan
4 years at Cincinnati
12 years at Notre Dame

One of these guys is not like the others...3 were young and making their way...1 is proven to be mired in mediocrity!
