Kelly’s problem is he pushed the clutch in after exceeding expectations by a lot in year one. He doesn’t realize that you can’t coast off that season for a year in the SEC. It’s not just our fan bases expectations that increased either. It’s the rest of the conference. He isn’t sneaking up on anybody this year and it looks like he put the defense on cruise control. He will learn but it sucks that he fricked around like he did with a bunch of scrub coaches on the defensive side of ball. I’m hoping Pete Jenkins can get us one or 2 more stops a game with his d line coaching and BK hires some decent defensive coaches at the end of the year.

Wasting an offense and QB like we’re doing is a tough pill to swallow

It happens. UT didn’t win anything with Payton Manning, but then won the National Championship the year after he left with Tee Martin at QB. No one knows how things will play out so just enjoy it for what it is … a game and a distraction for a few hours on Saturday.

I think part of it is Matt House coming from the NFL. Totally different mindset of preparation, practice, and development.

Even from the last time House was a DC in college to now, players have to be coached differently.

We are looking at playing with inferior talent in the following areas next year:

QB
WR
DL
DB (somehow, this is true)

The reason people are upset is that we have a Heisman-level QB and should be in title contention, but we're going to have a mediocre season dude to bad coaching and strategy. Then we're staring at a year 3 which will require rebuilding and a recruiting class that looks to be meh.

If you can't understand the concerns, then I don't know what to tell you.

Its the first thing brought up when BK is criticized. Trust me I don’t think it’s much of an accomplishment.

10 million a year that’s all I know. Loosing is one thing but being holy incompetent with our defense is something else.

BK has ALWAYS had a great DC with really good defenses. His DCs constantly get better jobs. The dude knows how to hire This is an absolute anomaly.
Cool, tell us about these DCs and how great they are doing elsewhere.

Isn’t Elko the only one that was worth a shite and he bailed for A&M after 1 year.

More experience in the secondary
experience doesn't get you much if the players aren't good to begin with. Hell, what if Vandy returned all 22 starters, would that be a good thing?

even more so if Greg Brooks can make a full recovery
sorry, but Brooks is now fighting just to live a normal life. He's almost certainly done with football

We have better players than every team Ole Miss has played other than Bama. We gave up more yards than any of those teams. BK is not a good coach. There is a reason all ND fans are happy he’s out and a reason he blew every big game

One of those guys is a bozo that had a loosing record (a HORRENDOUS record) when we hired him on a drunken dare. He wasn’t mired in mediocrity he was mired in inferiority. …and he still won a championship at LSU

Man, you must be pissed if you took all that time to figure that out. It’s OK, this isn’t life. It’s just football.
