I didn't realize Leohnard had left Wisconsin. He did really well the first few years at Wisconsin.

I think he got butthurt that they gave Fickell the job after he was interim HC. He’s going to be high on a lot of lists. Not sure how he didn’t get hired by anyone unless he just really wanted to be an HC.

Ha! Ha! And just as likely to land here as the other group. Brad White,….really? Kentucky’s defense was better when House was there.

Think it’s safe to say he will not be a candidate.

There will be a change because I don't think Matt House wants to be in college coaching anymore. Should've stayed in the NFL. Even if Bk didn't want to fire him I would bet he leaves anyway.

If he's making analyst money at Illinois it wouldn't be unrealistic to think we could entice him to come to LSU. Unless, like you said he wants to be a HC.

Been one of my bet friends for 52 years. I wanted him when Aranda left and many thought I was crazy. If you look at his track record as a DC he has dramatically improved the defense everywhere he has gone. With that said, he is not as "Gettable" as you may think. He has a butt load of NIL $$, heck of a recruiting class building, and lives in the Miami area. The only think that would temp him is his family. Mom and dad are not getting any younger. As others have said this is a frugal exercise since no change will be made. We all need to be praying from Michigan St. to come calling.

IF the Tigers were to actually lose and give up a lot of points at Missouri this Saturday, (God help us all if that Happens) what are the chances that BK will make a move, tear down the House and appoint an "Interim DC?"

Bob Diaco has been a Head Coach (UConn) and Defensive Coordinator at 3 schools. (Nebraska, Purdue and Louisiana Tech) He would be the logical choice as Interim DC.

Diaco could immediately SIMPLIFY the Defense and get them all on the same page by allowing the LB's and DB's to play strictly Man to Man.

I don't want to hear that we "Don't have the athletes to play Man to Man." Maybe not, but MTM would be a better option than House's "Too complicated for the LB's and DB's to learn and Execute" scheme. Play MTM and take your chances. So, the LB's and DB's get beat a few times. It will not be the complete disaster that this Zone Defense is causing. It's the lesser of Two Evils!

* Diaco as Interim DC.
* LB/DB Man to Man.
* Whit Weeks starts at MLB and runs the Defense.
* Pete Jenkins coaching up the DL.

Hope and pray that this will cause just enough improvement on Defense to allow the Offense to outscore everybody and maybe get some wins.......

This is the only available option currently. Nothing else can be done now. It's the only "Real World" solution and hope for any salvation at all for the remainder of the season........

Blake Barker especially if his D holds our offense in check! Brian Kelly has done mentioned and expressed how fundamentanly sound Bakers D is. Amd went out his way to praise how good and fundamentally sound they were
