Let’s be honest here too. Anderson and Harris were considered jewels of the portal.. you aren’t getting quality talent out of the portal. No way to build any continuity on the defense with guys coming and going every year learning a new system

We aren’t the least talented defense in CFB. However, we are the most poorly coached.

Portal is the problem. Not Kelly money talks. Can't force a kid or pay him to play at your school. Portal has ruined college sports. Live with it

The biggest problem is attitude on defense. I know Sam is only a freshman but the play when Dart hurdled him is unacceptable. You can’t pass on a chance to take a shot on the starting QB on a play like that. I know that is only one play by a freshman but it is a perfect example of the defenses lack of aggression.

Ehhhh from what I understand he played the numbers game.

His wife by contrast was able to get any guy she wanted.

Sam went too low on Dart and telegraphed the tackle.....and paid the price and humiliation

The greatest coach of all time won one, les won off the backs of that coaches recruits. Ed had the greatest team of all time fall into his lap. Recalibrate your expectations.

Don't claim O recruited anywhere near the standard needed at LSU. His last couple years were bad. It showed in the bowl game.

Do you think the lack of player intelligence has anything to do with the poor play by our DB’s?

A player may have good skills, but if he can’t learn the coverages bad things happen. Could lack of smarts be the reason for our zone coverage breakdowns?

Attitude has to change. In the day of the portal there is NO excuse for LSU to have this lack of talent. Does House even recruit at all?

Nothing like a poster who made his whole profile a dig at our best player to not know anything beyond a recruiting ranking.
