Oh Loranger--previously an A rated school. Gone to crap along with the rest of Tangipahoa Parish School System
I hope you understand why this has happened.

Was it last year or the year before the principal and the basketball coach got in a fist fight during school hours on campus in Loranger?

I understand completely but there are large systems as I show with MUCH more bigger populations doing a much better job than TPSS.
Compare the demographics of EBRR, Orleans and Tangipahoa and tell me TPSS is doing what it could be doing.
Much more school choice in Orleans and EBRR. The turnaround in scores in Orleans since Katrina have been remarkable. Orleans was the bottom system in 2001.

I hope you understand this and most people in Tangi do not---
Of the 64 systems scored this year TPSS scored lower than 55 of them.
Only these score lower.
Richland Parish
Franklin Parish
Pointe Coupee Parish
Morehouse Parish
City of Bogalusa School District
Madison Parish
East Carroll Parish
Recovery School District - Baton Rouge
City of Baker School District
The school board members in Tangi all wink and nod and try to explain away their failure using the discrimination lawsuit. That has become a flippant excuse for piss poor management and performance.
TPSS should be shut down and charter operators invited in to manage the schools and rehire the teachers they want and use the buildings they need.

This was posted on Facebook about Ponchatoula High. I was looking for the original person that leaked the pregnant teacher stuff and found this. It's got a crap ton of comments.

Link?
Another used to be "A" rated school.
No way given the income levels of Ponchatoula should that school be having the problems they are having.
One of the school board members that represents Ponchatoula is a big teachers union supporter and she has had her position for years and years.

The teacher’s name has been posted on FB if you search for Loranger. She’s deleted her FB but her Instagram is still up (albeit private). She’s definitely GUILTY.

Rumors are she's an assistant coach

Well then we know it’s a white woman and a black kid. Otherwise she’d have just lied about the daddy.

I assume you're not obligated to pay child support if you are under 18.

That's a senior?
...her "great school" in Georgia certainly didn't teach her how to write. Her sentences are five lines long with no concern for structure, punctuation, or any sort of cohesiveness.
Jesus Christ.
Is that what a public education gets you?
